2. Affordability

By starting your education at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, you can save up to $20,000 or more on tuition. Our diploma programs are an affordable alternative to direct entry into a university, making it easier to invest in your future while keeping costs manageable.

3. Faster Path to a Degree

You can begin your ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø program at an IELTS 5.5 level, which allows you to accelerate your path to a bachelor's degree. Instead of spending extra time meeting English requirements before enrolling in a university, you can start your diploma program right away and progress seamlessly into a degree program while also saving money.

4. Study and Work

Our programs include Co-op work experience, allowing you to gain real-world Canadian work experience while earning an income. Additionally, as an international student, you can work part-time to help cover living expenses, build professional connections, and enhance your resume. 5. Post Graduation Work Permit

You may be eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) of up to three years upon completing a degree program at our partner university.

The final decision on PGWP applications is made by the immigration officer reviewing the application. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and our partner institutions have no authority to influence or expedite the processing or approval of any application. For the latest information, please visit (IRCC) website.

Pathway Details

  • Students completing the Hospitality Management & Co-op Diploma (2 years) at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø can transfer 60 credits towards the Bachelor of Tourism Management Degree at Capilano University.
  • Students completing the Hospitality Management & Co-op Certificate (1 year) at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø can transfer 39 credits towards the Bachelor of Tourism Management Degree at Capilano University.
  • Students transferring credits from the CC HMC program must have the following elective courses to achieve the 39 credits: HOSP 261 - Basic Hotel Accounting, HOSP 357 - Managing Hospitality HR, HOSP 472 - Hospitality Sales & Marketing, HOSP 478 - Convention Management.
  • The Bachelor of Tourism Management Degree focuses on developing business management skills.
  • Completion of the articulated programs from ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø does not guarantee admission into CapU's Bachelor of Tourism Management.
  • Students must meet a minimum 2.0 CGPA.

English Language Requirements

  • Students must meet Capilano University's English Language Requirement.

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)

Business Management
& Co-op Diploma (1.5 years)
48 Credits
Bachelor of Commerce
Degree (2-3 years)

Pathway Details

  • Students who complete the Business Management & Co-op (BMD & Co-op) program will transfer up to 48 credits towards the Bachelor of Commerce at UCW.
  • Students who complete the Business Management Certificate (BMC) will transfer up to 45 credits towards the Bachelor of Commerce at UCW.
  • Completion of the articulated programs from ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø does not guarantee admission into UCW's Bachelor of Commerce.
  • Students must meet a minimum cumulative average of 60% and 60% in each individual course.

English Language Requirements

  • No English requirement after completing BMD Co-op.
  • UAC030 after completing BFM.
  • Academic IELTS - 6.5 or better with a minimum of 6.0 in the writing band, or equivalent (for students whose first language is not English).

Pathway Details

  • Students who complete the Business Management & Co-op Diploma or Hospitality Management & Co-op Diploma are eligible to apply for admission to VCC¡¯s Bachelor of Hospitality Management
  • Students must meet a minimum C(2.0/4.33) GPA.
  • Additional proof of English proficiency is not required.
  • Completion of an articulated program at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø does not guarantee admission to VCC. Admission to VCC¡¯s Bachelor of Hospitality Management is offered on a first-qualified, first-admitted basis.
